Disney World day #3...

Sorry this has been so long in coming... but here is the 3rd day of Ireland and Nana's Disney trip... I will let Ireland take it away!

It was a very nice day this day at Epcot. This is the huge ball of Epcot! It's the boss!
This is me and Nana standing by flower made giraffes not real ones. Someone took our picture there... but it wasn't a girl, it was a boy.
We got to have lunch with princesses at a viking restaurant. We went backwards on the viking ride and the rock peeked out at me and rolled its eye... because its a rock with an eye. We also saw polar bears there.
This is me and Belle. She drew a rose for me on her autograph.
This is my ravioli... its Mickey. I got a side of sauce for it... but its not chicken, its cheese. And look whos finger is in the way... Nana's!
This is me and Snow White again.
This is a picture of Nana I took. She was happy to eat lunch with the Princesses.
This is Sleeping Beauty... kind of known as Aurora.
This is Ariel... she doesn't really look like Ariel. She asked me if I did my hair with a dinglehopper... it was funny!
This is Cinderella and me at the castle looking viking ride restaurant.
These are all the desserts. They were good. I loved them! They were so delicious!
This is Mulan. And me with Mulan.
These are pictures of me and Nana next to Minnie and Mickey trees.
This is Jasmine and Aladdin and me taking a picture. Aladdin talked to me and he was wearing not just a shirt, a jacket. And Jasmine was wearing a bra.
This is Mary Poppins and me and Nana taking a picture.
This is Alice and Wonderland and me with a new autograph book.
This is me and Donald wearing a fiesta hat and shirt thing.

This was a fun day... we got to ride Soarin' and that ride is my 2nd favorite. I picked out Chloe's present... an umbrella!

Ireland's blog!
We'll see you next time!!!

Cutest kids ever!

I just thought I would share these cute pictures with you guys... I don't know why, but the girls were looking extra cute on Monday!
We spent all morning playing outside... the playground was a bit wet so when we got inside Chloe had to change her clothes... this is what she came up with...
One of the best things was that she also had a green flower shirt under that pink one. She was so proud of herself because she matched "flowers to flowers to flowers!!!" (her own words). And I am not sure why she is holding that duck picture. Funny kid!

Catch up pictures...

I know it has been a long time since I last updated this. And our last post didn't even have pictures of the girls! What a disgrace!! :)
So, these pictures are from a while ago... the weekend we painted actually.
Chris decided to start a fire on last Sunday night and have story time with the girls. They thought it was pretty cool. They tried to do it with the lights off but it was too hard to see the book! :) They loved it so much.
The next pictures are from that Saturday night. We spent all day painting and the girls suffered because of it. They had to pretty much stay in their room all day long and keep themselves happy. So we felt bad for them by the end of the day and decided to have a movie night for them. We invited our neighbor and new friend, Mason over to join us. We popped some popcorn and had some cookies. They all thought it was awesome! We watched UP and the girls were extra excited because we got to stay up a little later than normal!
Last weekend was so full of stuff to do! Mostly painting. It was hard work! So this weekend we took it pretty easy... we went to church and just kind of hung out. I didn't get any new pictures taken this weekend. So you all will have to wait until later for more recent pictures! :)

Guess what we did this weekend....

We painted!!!! Here is a little peek into our new living room... The colors are green and gray. And I SWEAR the green looks so much brighter on "film" then it is in real life... really! But I am not going to lie, it is a pretty bold green. Just a little more toned down than it looks like here!
We all love it so much and couldn't be happier!
Sorry about the bright windows! So, what do you all think? And remember, its a lot brighter on here! ;)

Soldier of the month board

Update:
Chris didn't get Soldier of the Month. Out of 8 guys he was in the top 2. So he did really great. For his first time that is better than average. He was really happy with the outcome. He is happy he got the experience but is also happy he doesn't have to spend the next 2 weeks preparing for another board!
They told him to improve the outcome of the next board he needs to be more assertive and speak a bit more clear (weird).
So he will work on that and try to be ready for the next time... whenever that may be!

Chris got selected to go to the Soldier of the Month board. Its kind of like a competition. I am not really sure how to explain it. But a handful of guys are selected and they have to study up on current events, Army knowledge, and all their creeds. Then they have to get dressed up in their dress uniforms and go in front of the board and answer a slue of questions... the board is comprised of 1SGT's and other important people (I am not sure who all is on the board). The soldier goes in and is asked any question that pertains to the Army and current events.
At the end of it all, they chose on soldier to be the winner. Then they go on to a bigger level of competition. If you keep winning you can eventually get to and Army wide board and be Soldier of the Year.
So anyway... Chris had his board today. He will find out the outcome around 1:00pm today... so I will keep you all posted.
Chris got some new dress uniforms and they are SHARP looking! I love them! He use to have Class A's which are the green dress uniforms. He just got his clothing allowance and bought some Dress Blues I cannot get over how nice they look!
As you can see... he was really excited about the board! :) He was so anxious to get it over with. Boards aren't his favorite thing to do... he actually kind of hates them and gets nervous. But I am sure he did great!
I had to be a proud Army Wife and take pictures of him when he got done. I really just can't get over how handsome he looks all dressed up!
Ireland was very impressed with his uniform. She asked me why he doesn't get to wear those everyday.
Then of course, we had to take some pictures of the girls...
(P.S. help me try to convince my husband that I need a new camera! I hate how all my pictures come out super grainy! I really want a new one!)
I don't know why, but I LOVE this picture of Chloe! I think it captures her personality perfectly!
Our beautiful Ireland... anyone know someone looking for a 5 year old model?! She already has the poses down!
Like I said, I will try to keep you all posted about the outcome of the board... Chris is sure he didn't win. But I say you never know! He was the ONLY one in the new Dress Blues... so he had a step up on the competition right away! :)

Disney World day #2 part 1

This is the first half of their 2nd day. Sorry its taken a little while to get up. Ireland kind of got burnt out after the last blog... it was kind of long! Nana and Ireland got to go on an awesome scavenger hunt. They had to find Hook's hook (Peter Pan stole his favorite one) before lunch of Hook was going to lock up all the princesses and only let pirates into the Magic Kingdom. So it was their job to find the hook and save the day.
Here is the rest of their day!

This is the start of my scavenger hunt. Me and Nana were waiting to save Magic Kingdom and see Peter Pan at the end. But I didn't know I would see him.
That is still me waiting.
This is me taking a picture of me again.
I was first in line to see Snow White! And there were no other kids in this line!
That is me and Snow White. She was really nice. I was standing like a princess.
This us at Magic Kingdom saving it and flying like Buzz Lightyear at the scavenger hunt... we finally go into it!
These are the other kids on the scavenger hunt. One was wearing a Peter Pan costume and one was wearing a Hook costume.
This is me and the girl who helped me read the clues.
This is Cinderella. She is a princess in a childs eyes even in her rags.
This is the tree with all the lanterns in it. We called for Tinker Bell 2 times walking around the tree. But she wasn't there stayed there. We stayed there and talked about it and found out she got out from the tiny holes in the bottom of the lanterns.
This is the Diamond Horseshoe. I thought it was so pretty! There was a diamond in the middle. The horseshoe was the clue!
Here's Peter Pan, me, and all my friends. This is where I got the jewels for Mommy.
The scavenger hunt is almost over!

This is Peter Pan and all my friends again. We saw him 3 times that day! We went to the Mickey show at night and he was there, we went to the castle show and he was there, and he was at the scavenger hunt too!
This is me and Nana and Peter Pan taking a picture. I saved Magic Kingdom!!! It was so much fun! On the scavenger hunt if someone asked up what we were doing, except Mickey, we said we were cleaning trash cans. That way no one knew that pirates might be coming and get scared. And at the start the girl who read the clue said that Hook said if we didn't save the day by lunch time he would lock up all the princesses and I didn't want that!
We are holding the map that read all the clues and I am holding Hooks favorite hook!

The End... my blog is finished!
