you never know....

as i told all of you in the last blog, Chloe has become a very good.... no lets say a GREAT.... climber! she climbs on everything! and i really do mean everything! she has figured out how to get on the couch and now tries to go up the back of the couch. she clinbs on Ireland's green chair in many different ways... over the arms is her favorite way i think. she also likes to climb on the toy boxes. one of which is right next to Ireland's Dora kitchen... well tonight was the night she decided to climb onto the dora kitchen! for those of you who don't know, the dora kitchen is just a plastic play kitchen that Ireland loves. being as how it is plastic, it doesn't weigh very much. so when Chloe tried to get off the kitchen (which she has figured out pretty good... the whloe turning around backwards to get off of stuff) she kind of took it down with her. it came tumbling on top of her and in the whloe process she bit her lip real good! and when i say good i mean bad! it bleed for what seemed like forever! and it really was for about 10 or 15 minutes. it was horrible! the whloe dripping blood from the mouth thing is not what you want to see when you look at your 1 year old! i was certin that she needed stitches... but luckily chris was there to reassure me she didn't... we don't need to tell him this, but he was right. although it bleed for a long time... it is all ok. just going to leave a little fat lip! we gave Chloe an ice cube in a plastic bag to suck on and she loved it! what a night!

on a happier note... Ireland and mommy got to go swimming on sunday. it was lots of fun... but Ireland wouldn't get in the water all the way... it was still a little too cold for that! but she did love playing with her feet in the water and splashing and singing beautiful songs loud enough for the whloe pool to hear! so i thought you all would like to see some pictures of that!

Give me a break!!!!

i know... it has been a little less than forever since the last time i posted. you see, we don't really have internet at our apartment. we just pick up our neighbors from time to time... so it is kind of hit and miss to if we are going to be able to get online or not. and lets just say it has been more miss for the past few months. we are trying our hardest to get our own internet but it just isn't in the cards right now... but for the moment we seem to be getting someones connection so i thought i'd try to fill you all in as best i can!so here goes.... Chloe is no longer a baby! she is a walking, talking, 1 year old! you all would be so surprised to see how big she is! we had a great birthday party for her. lots of family came to see us and help celebrate... aunt sissy, uncle matt, and camdyn, aunt shawna and ava, Great Gran, Uncle Danny, and lots of friends! it was so much fun! and Chloe loved it all. but i would have to say that her favorite part was the birthday cake!

she is walking like a pro and has been since the day she turned 1. she also has turned into a monkey! she climbs on EVERYTHING!!!!! you can't take your eyes off her or she is on the couch trying to climb onto the side table! what a nut! she also has a very nice vocabulary! i think some of she favorite words are baby, mommy (who could blame her), puppy, and daddy. but she says much more.... she also says eat, thank you, please, all done, ireland (which comes out pretty jumbled, but we know what she is saying), sweet, kisses, and other odds and ends but those are the regulars. so it is great to get to communicate with her!

Ireland is doing great as well. no big surprise there! she is getting smarter by the minute. she now knows how to count up to 6 objects. but she can count past 10 and can reconize all the numbers up to 12. she also can reconize a few letters... like a, b, c, i, l, m, o, s, t, and sometimes y (just kidding... that was me trying to be funny about the y... all the other letters are true).

ireland and chloe love to play outside as much as possible. chloe tries to keep up with ireland and it is pretty cute to watch! the pool at the apartments are about to open so we are all looking forward to that!

Mommy and Daddy have a military ball to go to on the 1st of june so Gramma Sherry, Gran, and Aunt Shawna are going to come to visit and help babysit! it is going to be a good time! it will be Gramma Sherry's first visit here so we are really looking forward to that!

other than that there isn't much else going on!
i will try to keep better updated... God willing. but just know if you haven't heard from us in awhile chances are it's not my fault! PROMISE!!!!
