Wedding and Colorado

This past weekend my uncle got married!! :) Congrats Scotty and Robin!! We got to go up to Pueblo to be a part of the wedding. It was beautiful and so much fun. My sister and I were grooms ladies (we stood on Scott's side) and Ireland was the flower girl. As you can imagine, she was a super flower girl! She just loved all the attention and primping! So the following are pictures of the wedding and some from the weekend we spent up at Nana and Papaw's house.

Since Ireland was a part of the wedding party, she got to spend the day getting ready with the bridesmaids and groomslaides... she loved being the only kid among a bunch of adults. Of course, she loved all the pictures taking. As you can tell from these pictures, she even posed herself to get in on some of the action!

Below: Mommy and Ireland all ready for the big moment!

Below: Aunt Sissy and Ireland looking georgeous as usual!

Below: Chloe and Camdyn were great! It was a long day of sitting around for them and they were such big girls! When the dance floor opened, we couldn't get them off! They both danced til their feet hurt! :)

Below: Nana and Ireland playing the leapster and waiting for the dance floor to open!

Papaw and Nana... aka, Daddy and Mum... aka, Steve and Kelli! :)

Below: Silas and Papaw... Silas was Papaws buddy that day. He even took a nap on Papaw's lap!

Below: Camdyn and Nana

Below: Ireland after church on Sunday... I can't get over how cute she! Chris saw this picture and said she is going to be nothing but trouble as she gets older... he can already see the lines of boys outside the house!

Below: Chloe and Nana outside playing with sidewalk chalk... the girls loved seeing their Nana and Papaw again and being at their house!

Below: I just love this picture of Silas! He is just a peach all the time! You can just see his personality in this picture!

So, all in all it was a great little trip! We just got home yesterday and tomorrow we load the van back up and head down to Texas to visit Chris' family! So there will be pleanty more fun blogs to come!

New couches!

Our old couches were from my parents... they were used in the old house and they were getting kind of old themselves! My parents bought them when I was a freshman in highschool and then gave them to Chris and me when we moved out... so between their age and 2 kids later, they were in pretty bad shape!
When Gran came to our house for her visit, she said she would help us get some new couches! I didn't post any pictures because they were a surprise for Chris and I didn't want him to check the blog and see the pics... so now that he is home, I will let you see them! I LOVE them! I am so happy to have new ones! They are clean! :)

Back together again!

Well, as I am sure you all know by know... CHRIS IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are just a little excited to be back together as one big happy family! He came home on Friday night around 10:00pm. It was a long night for the girls but they all did really good.
We were lucky enough to have some family here to help welcome Chris home... Sissy and Camdyn, Gran, Danny, Sherry, Shawna, and her son Alec all got to be here with us! Chris was so happy to see everyone and missed everyone that couldn't make it! Please enjoy the pictures, I put a lot on here! And I should be getting another blog up soon with pictures of the past few days... the girls sure have been enjoying having their Daddy home!
The girls and me right before we left. I LOVE their dresses! Gramma King made them! They were perfect and I cannot tell you how many compliments they got!

Ireland and Aunt Shawna anxiously waiting for the soldiers to walk in... they were just waiting on the other side of the gym wall!

Aunt Sissy and Camdyn doing the same thing! It seemed like we had to wait FOREVER! We just wanted them to come in!

Chloe waiting... holding her sign we made for Daddy... that way he could spot us easy in the stands and come right to us when he was released!

Ireland was so excited! It was hard to keep her still and in one place while we were waiting!

The long awaited arrival! What a beautiful sight!

First hugs from both the girls! They were beyond happy to see their Daddy... and he was beyond happy to see them!

I love the look on Ireland's face in this picture... you can see how tight she is squeezing him... She missed him so much!

As you can imagine, Ireland had so much to tell Chris and she started right away!

A priceless picture...

Chris and his Gran!

Chris, Sherry, and Ireland

First kisses...

Walking with Daddy to the car to take him HOME! :)

This picture is from a few days later... we all went to breakfast together on Sunday morning before all our company went their separate ways. The girls got tired of waiting after they were done eating so Chris took them outside to play. I thought this picture was too cute!

I hope you all liked the pictures! It was a very special day to say the least! Thank you guys for all your prayers! They are so appreciated and Chris said he couldn't have done it without them! Love you guys!

Some catch up

Well, we are just waiting... waiting to hear from Chris... waiting to know anything at all! I am going a little crazy! But at least we know that he is safe and starting the slow process of coming home. I will try to keep you all up to date on what is going on... until then, I will give you some pictures to look at and help pass the time!

We made Daddy some welcome home signs today. I don't think we will bring them to the coming home ceremony (I would end up carrying them that would annoy me! haha). But I figured we could use them to decorate the house for his coming home party. And I knew that Ireland would love an excuse to do a craft. She is so funny... she told me today, "You know Mommy, when I grow up and I am a mom, I am going to be one crafty mom!" I took that as my cue to do more art projects and crafts with her! Anyway... here are some pictures of the sign making!

Gran even got in on the action!

They turned out pretty cute! I will put a picture of them when they are all hung up for the long awaited homecoming party!

I thought I would put some actually action pictures of the girls at the spray park... You can't really see their faces, but you sure can see how much fun they are having!

I will let you all know when I know anything about Chris... and I will for sure let you know when he is state side... Please keep his unit in your prayers! They have a very long journey ahead of them and they will be very tired when they get home! So if you could say a prayer for them all I know they would appreciate it!
