Chloe got to eat at the "big" table for the first time this weekend! Ireland has develpoed a new love for sitting in the "grown-up" chairs and not her booster seat anymore. and she is big enough now that she can reach the table without having to use it. so since it wasn't being used we thought Chloe might like to sit at the table with all of us instead of her highchair... and we were right! she loves it! she would much rather sit with all of us! so now we eat family all together at one big table! and it is a lot of fun!
the other big first is she ate dinner monday night with a fork! i have given her forks and spoons in the past... she just has never been sucsessful with either of them. but monday we were having pancakes and sausage and she did fantastic! she was so proud of herself and showed off for the camera nicely!
ok... now for the bad.... somehow Chloe got a hold of a blue marker. and by the looks of things, blue markers taste a lot like chocolate... because she couldn't keep it out of her mouth! It was saturday morning. chris and i were paying bills. he was in the bedroom and i was in the kitchen... so we had the baby gates open and the girls were able to play in their room if they wanted... well, i guess Chloe had a grand ol' time and she found this marker and just came walking into the kitchen blue as can be... luckily i am at least half way smart... and even though i leave markers laying around they are washable! so it all came right off! but this was the first time Chloe got into something she wasn't supposed to... we didn't have to deal with Ireland doing that until she was over 2 (read the lotion blog). but i guess Chloe wanted a head start! too funny!
here are some pictures of Ireland on any given morning when we don't have places to go... she has taken to dressing up in whatever she can find... i think you can tell she has on her pj top, cinderella swimming suit, and chloe's swimming suit. the outfit later grew to all of the above plus a pair of chloe's shorts, another pj top, and a "helmet" (which is a winter hat). never too boring around here!
