Disney #5... our last day

Ok, so here it is... the last day in Disney. By this point all the kids were pretty tired... but not as tired as the adults! :) We saved Animal Kingdom for the last day. It was a really fun day. We went on a safari and saw all kinds of cool animals! We also got to see a few really great shows, Finding Nemo and the Lion King. The girls got to ride on a ride just like Dumbo but it was dinosaurs. They, of course, loved it! Chris, my sister, and Matt got to ride on a fun ride about bringing a dinosaur back from the past... its kind of a thrill ride. Then Chris, my dad, and I went on Expedition Everest... a super fun roller coaster! While we did that the girls (Silas and Nana were back in the hotel by this point... they both needed a nap) played at this really cool outdoor play structure. Kind of like you find at McDonalds but bigger and better. They really enjoyed it! They were allowed to just play and be free so they were in heaven! They also got to "dig for dino bones" and they all thought that was awesome! By the end they were super dirty but it was worth it! Thanks, Aunt Sissy! Since I was off riding roller coasters while they played, I didn't get any pics of that... but I am sure my sister did, so maybe when her computer is fixed she will get some of those posted.
After Animal Kingdom we headed to Downtown Disney... SHOPPING! :) We saved shopping for the last day. There is the biggest Disney store ever and let me tell you... the kids were OVERWHELMED! It was insane. But finally they each picked out something special to take home with them...
Next stop was to check the final goal off Ireland's list... a Mickey Bar. We went back to the hotel and Papaw bought all the kids a special snack.
When they were good and messy it was off to the room to get packed up and ready for the next day of travel!

Ireland and Camdyn were playing peek-a-boo with Silas. He loved it!
And, notice the hats... Nana and Papaw let them each pick out their own Mickey ears and then they got their names on the back of them.
Ireland picked out Princess (over faries... I was surprised), Camdyn picked out Minnie Mouse,

and Chloe picked out the classic Mickey Mouse. Its funny what they picked out! I thought for sure Chloe and Camdyn would want Princess and Ireland would want fairies! But they all got different ones! They also loved wearing them. They each wore them for most of the day. Chloe would even talk like Mickey when she had hers on!

The girls loved all the dinos! Camdyn really did... she is currently really interested in a new cartoon on PBS called Dinosaur Train. So she thought it was pretty cool to see all the dinosaurs!

You can never get a picture when they all are looking and smiling at the same time! :)

Ok, this is one of my favorite stories of the day... while Matt, Chris, and my sister were on the Dinosaur ride we went to go wait for them by the exit. This big dino is the "main character" of that ride. So this big guy was right infront of the entrance to the ride. When we rounded the corner and it came into view, Camdyn said, "Auntie look!!! Its a Brachiosaurus!!!!" I was shocked to hear that big word come out of such a tiny little thing! She later told me the names of plenty other dinosaurs! So funny what they remember!

I had to post all 3 of these pictures... because it shows how hard it was to get a picture of Ireland by the end of the week... she was turned into a posing MONSTER! I couldn't get her to just stand and smile!
Nice, Ireland... real nice!

Here they are after Downtown Disney enjoying their treats! Even Silas got a little something! :)
So, that is it... that is our last day. Tomorrow I will post some pictures of our day of travel. But again... not too many pictures! I kind of lost my picture mojo as the days past... we just got so busy! But we had a great time and I know it is something Ireland and Chloe will always remember! And so will the rest of us!
