MTV Cribs (almost)

So, here are pictures of the new digs! I hope you all really, REALLY wanted to see pictures, because I posted loads of them! :)
This is the front of our house. Its pretty cute I think. I want to get some outdoor plants and whatnot so it doesn't look the same as every other house on the street. One nice thing is the houses are actually different colors here... not all of them are yellow like at Fort Sill. Oh the small things that make you happy when living on a military post!
This is what you see when you first walk in the front door... you are looking at the living room. To the left is a half bath, to the right is the kitchen. If you take like 4 steps down the hall, on the left is the stairs to all the bedrooms.
Here is the kitchen... looking in from the front door.
Here is the other view of the kitchen... after you have walked through and turned around :)
This is standing by the back door and fireplace (totally awesome that we have a fireplace) looking towards the kitchen. On the right is the living room.
This is the living room... looking towards the eating area and fireplace and back door.
The hallway is just to the right.
Another view of the living room.... standing by the eating area.
This is a picture of the awesome windows! My favorite part of the house!
This is taken from the backdoor! Awesome that we have a playground so close! The girls obviously love it. And there are lots of kids that play there so the girls have already met a few people!
Back of the house... the upstairs window is Chris and my room.
I also love the awesome tree we have in the backyard! It so pretty.
This is after you go up the stair and are looking down... I think all the pictures look cute.
Standing at the bottom of the 2nd part of the stair looking into the girls room.
So, there are lots of pictures of the girls room... they were being hams (weird) so I took all the pictures they wanted me to. They cleaned their room and made their own beds to get it ready to show all of their friends on the blog.
So this is standing in the door... Ireland's bed is to the right and the closet is to the left.
Standing over by Chloe's bed looking towards the door.
Standing in front of the closet. I love all the big windows we have!
Same spot... different pose! :)

And again...
Standing in front of the dresser and window looking towards the closet.
And of course we HAD to include a picture of the carpet... because that is always important to show off (per Ireland's request).
If you walk out of the girls room and take a right walk like 2 steps and take another right, you get to our room. This is taken from the corner of the room opposite of the door.
Taken from the door.
If you walk out the door and turn right there is the guest room... it really isn't done at all... but here it is.
So that's it! Hope you all like it and get kind of feel for it! :)

Back in action!

Yes!!! We have internet again! I cannot even begin to say how excited I am about it! I have felt so out of touch with everyone!
I am so happy that we finally get to share some picture with all of you from our new home. We have made it to Washington safe and sound... and I love it so much! And so does Chris! And the girls! It is such a beautiful place!!! I don't know if you can hear my happiness in these typed words, but I am seriously so happy here! I can't believe what a good fit Washington is for us so far!
I am not posting pictures of the house in this post. I haven't had a chance to take any and I want to wait until daylight so it looks nicer (lame, I know). So if I can manage to get things picked up and picture ready, I will get that one up tomorrow.
In the meantime, you will all have to do with just some pictures of the girls. I know, I know... I torture you all... but what can I do?
There is a wooded area at the end of our street that is fenced off and has tons of trails through out. Chris has been up there a few times mountain biking and said the girls would love it. So on Saturday morning we took a family "hike" up in the forest. It is so beautiful... almost as beautiful as Colorado... almost!
The trail started out on a paved road (real rugged) but that only lasted for a little bit.
The girls and Chris decided to run up the first part... I decided to take pictures! :)
The girls loved it! They though it was the coolest thing ever!
I have been amazed at the weather here! I was so scared that I was going to go months without seeing the sun. So not the way it is! There has been sunshine everyday for over a week. Its not sunny all day everyday... where it isn't that way anywhere. But there is sunshine here and I am thrilled!
There is also a lot of rain, so everything is covered with moss. It is the coolest thing! Everything here is so green! I love it... that is one thing that I like more here than Colorado. It makes everything so pretty!

Like I said, the girls loved the hike. We ended up at a little pond. It wasn't a long walk, but perfect for them.

On the walk back to the house there are some old abandon railroad tracks. I think this picture is so precious!
I will try to get some more blogs up soon. Like I said, I will try to get one of the house up tomorrow. Sorry we have been MIA for so long, I have sure missed having the internet! Feels good to be back! :)
