So, here is a blog about the last week or so of our lives. Nothing too exciting has been going on around here... besides packing and what not... and to be honest... not much packing has been going on either. I know this might be shocking to some of you... but I am kind of putting off packing. It is SO unlike me to do such a thing! :) Maybe next week will be better! Haha...
So, enjoy the pictures... there are some from our Earth Day celebration, pulling weeds with Nana, playing outside, and some pretty funny Chloe pictures at the end...
For Earth Day we walked down to the local flower shop to buy some flowers to plant. We were blessed with some wonderful weather so it was really fun. After we got back from our walk, Nana (with no help from me... I don't have much of a green thumb) helped the girls plant their flowers. Ireland was really into it! She loved the planting and watering. She asks everyday to go water her flowers... even if it is raining. :)
We also learned about conserving energy and not being wasteful of things... Irealnd took this to heart. She is now very careful about turning off lights when she (or anyone else) leaves a room and making sure you turn the sink off when you aren't using it... she even turns the water off when she is washing her hands, in between the soap scrubbing and rinsing... :) I am so proud...
Oh, and she always reminds me to bring our shopping bags... every time we are leaving the house... even if we aren't shopping! Ha... I guess you can say our Earth Day talk was a hit!
Chloe helping with the flowers!
Watering..
Proud of their new garden!
Ireland asked to have her picture taken next to the flowers she picked out... I think it is a mighty cute picture of her!

Ireland helping Nana pull weeds. She didn't want to sit in the dirt, so she is sitting on a bucket just like Papaw would!
Chloe playing in the sandbox instead of pulling weeds... who can blame her?
The other night durning dinner Chloe asked to go potty. She was in there a little too long so I went to go check on her... when I got to the bathroom this is what I found....

She said she was trying to put on a "swimming fing (thing)" and got stuck... I was laughing so hard I was crying!
Oh, for those of you who don't have small kids... that is a potty seat she is "wearing"... gross, I know...
Luckily it was a bath night so I didn't feel too bad!
She was pretty stuck... she couldn't get it off herself. So...
she was lucky Papaw was there to lend a helping hand! There is NEVER a boring day when Chloe is around! :)

I laughed out loud at Chloe with te potty seat. I can picture that unfolding perfectly. The looked like they enjoyed planting the flowers. So not something I would do either, that's what Nana's are for!
Haha! I'm laughing out loud even though I've already seen those pictures! She's hilarious! And - Ireland looks so big in the gardening pictures - I bet she loved every minute of it!!
