Pumpkin Carving!!!

We did some pumpkin carving last night!! It was super fun... Ireland did not like putting her hand inside the pumpkin, so she used a spoon. But in all honesty, she didn't like that either... So the girls didn't do too much of the digging in the pumpkin guts... Nana and Mommy cleaned them out instead... But they still had lots of fun!

Chloe's first look at the insides of the pumpkin! She thought it was cool until she touched it... then she got kind of grossed out!

I think this picture is great because it shows Irelands true feelings about the pumpkin guts! She totally gagged! It was so funny! She wanted so bad to dig out the insides but she just couldn't do... she tired 3 times and gagged each and every time! ha

This part suited Ireland much better... I let her draw the face on one of the pumpkins... she liked that so much better. It made it kind of hard to carve because the eyes and nose were kind of close, but it turned out dang cute!

One the second pumpkin we drilled holes in it so it looked dotted... we got this idea for Maren, Jeff, and EmJ. I let Ireland help drill the holes and she thought it was the coolest thing ever! I wasn't sure she was going to like the drill, but she was great at it! Chloe on the other hand did not like the drill. She was in her room during the whole drilling!

The finished product. I love how they look! Ireland did a really good job with the face! And if I do say so myself, I didn't do a half bad job carving it out! :)

Here are some pictures from the last few days... Today we had a Trunk or Treat party and the church. We decorated Papaw's truck with the youth group. They decided to decorate it with a super hero theme so Ireland (who is going to be Wonder Woman for halloween) could be a part of the design. It turned out pretty cool and Ireland loved being the center of it all! Both the girls got to dress up so Chloe was wearing her "Stinky" costume. She attracted lots of ohhs and ahhs! She does look pretty cute if I do say so myself! So here are some pictures of our fun night...

Chloe and Nana singing "So this is Love" after church today... this is one of Chloe's favorite things to do. She holds on really tight to Nana and sings in the softest and sweetest voice ever!



Ok, I know this is a kind of random picture, but it is mostly for Chris' sake... This is what our new bedroom is going to be decorated like... You can see the pillowcase laying flat and that is what our new bedding looks like. I found the 2 pictures at Target for $10.00! They match really good. Then the other day my mom and I were at Marshalls and I found these really great vases and this awesome jewelery box that I just love! I am so super excited about it... Now I just hope Chris likes it too! :)

I thought I would end with this really awesome picture of the girls! I think it is pretty much the coolest picture ever!

Don't faint... here is a new blog!

I know its been awhile since I have posted... but here are some pictures for you all to enjoy! We haven't done anything exciting since my last post... so the pictures are just us hanging out and doing our day to day thing! :o)

I made Ireland a paper chain for the amount of days until Chris comes home on leave... we kind of just guessed. We know it will some time in Feburary so I just made enough links to make it to the middle of the month... She loves it! We take one off everyday and there is a little something special written on each link... stuff like Daddy blew you a kiss today, or Daddy misses you lots and lots... stuff like that... So she gets to take one off each day and she thinks it is really neat! I am really happy she enjoys it and I didn't waste the 3 hours it took me to make it! :o)

Chloe is successfully potty trained! She loves to wear her big girl panties! The only problem is she never wants to have her pants on anymore... which i guess isn't really a change from before. She has kind of always loved being naked... She is too funny!

This picture is just another day in the life of Chloe... she found Ireland's socks and put them on... I thought she looked too cute in her panties and socks!

The other day after lunch the girls had some Skittles to eat... Chloe thought that sucking them off the table was the best way to eat them... Ireland soon followed Chloes lead... It was pretty funny to watch...

Papaw made this sock puppet in a art class at school... Ireland fell in love with it from the minute he brought it home... His name is Rip... I guess cause he is a surfer (Papaw has a good imagination)... But Ireland plays with him all the time. She even has a different voice for Rip and she has conversations with him... The other day she was teaching Rip a song and she would sing a little part in her voice and then make Rip repeat her in Rips voice... it was awesome to watch!
